The legal issues that are involved with online casino gambling, pertain to processing payments.  This is not an issue that you as an online casino player is liable for. The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, the UIGEA, has made it illegal for gambling sites to knowingly accept payments, and not for players who knowingly make deposits into online casino sites.  With that said, the UIGEA has made it so payment processors and gambling sites are liable for damages and not the gamblers themselves. You will not find in the UIGEA a written passage that playing at an online casino is illegal.  Thus, with this said, making deposits into online casino sites is not easy for US residents and it is not actually a crime.

Below are a few questions and answers that I believe are very helpful to the person wanting to make an online deposit to their favorite online casino:

1) Why would my credit card deposit rejected at an online casino?
There are many reasons why your credit card might be rejected by an online casino.  The most common reason that your deposit is rejected because your deposit can be rejected in the event that either your bank restricts gambling payments due to the UIGEA, deeming gambling payments as a high risk transaction, or due to not processing international transactions.

2) I made a payment into my gambling site, but the payment on my online banking came up as something totally unrelated to online gambling. Why?
Many online casino sites now use payment processors outside of their business in order to facilitate easier transactions outside of the UIGEA's scope of coverage.

3) How fast does it take to process my credit card verification form?

Generally, you can make deposits as many times per day as you want.  Just remember, not to over due it! 

9) Will I get arrested for making an online casino deposit?
